Develop understanding of numbers, a sense of space and an understanding of basic geometric shapes, create and duplicate simple patterns, sort and classify objects, and learn how to use a variety of non-standard and standard means of measurement.
Activities such as Looking at Photos, Allowing Alone Time, Giving Choices, Taking Turns Speaking and Listening, Talking about feeling, Having Fun, can be used to help increase the social development of Pre-K students.
Develop confidence, positive self-awareness, curiosity, initiative, self-direction, persistence, interpersonal & social skills for relating with other members of the learning community, and increase the capacity for self-control.
